So maybe this won't be so bad...
Dec. 12th, 2006 10:47 amSo I went to the MWOS dress rehearsal yesterday night, after 3 rehearsals missed because I was sick. I'm still suffering from the aftermath of my cold, aka runny nose, coughing up phlegm, but my voice has cleared up enough that I don't sound like a dodo with laryngitis. I need work, but I no longer feel like running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Because it feels as though we actually have our act together. I mean, the rehearsal went really well. It's just my feet and calves are killing me because I've been playing some intense DDR and then compounded the aching of my muscles by wearing my dance shoes at the rehearsal -with gym socks. Ouch.
I picked up my costume, so I'm set. Now I just have to work up the nerve to actually wear that god-awful hat.
Incidentally, if anyone's interested in coming to my concert, it's at 7:30 on Wednesday (tomorrow) at the Montreal-West United Church. That's the church on Westminster closest to Sherbrooke, and if you take the 162 from Villa Metro you'll end up right in front of it. Or you could ask Masha or Siony, or possibly Millie. Tickets are 10 dollars, it's for a good cause, and it's for a good show.
